Dr. Alina Gromova ist seit 2023 Vize-Präsidentin und seit 2020 Vorstandsmitglied von ICOM Deutschland. Sie ist stellvertretende Direktorin und Leiterin des Bereichs Ausstellungen und Sammlungen der Stiftung Neue Synagoge Berlin – Centrum Judaicum. Von 2016 bis 2021 war sie Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Jüdischen Museum Berlin, zuständig für Bereiche Migration und Diversität und Jüdisch-Islamisches Forum. Von 2008 bis 2015 war sie als freiberufliche Referentin für Führungen am Jüdischen Museum Berlin tätig. 2004 gehörte sie als Volontärin zur kuratorischen Abteilung des Museum and Holocaust Research Centre in Melbourne. Sie ist assoziiertes Vorstandsmitglied von ICOM COMCOL, ICOM International Committee for Collecting und Mitglied bei den Neuen deutschen Museumsmacher*innen. 2020 gründete sie die Initiative „Making Museums Matter“ mit.
Dr Alina Gromova is a Vice-President of ICOM Germany (since 2023) and a member of the ICOM Germany Board (since 2023). She is Deputy Director and Head of Exhibitions and Collections at the Foundation New Synagogue Berlin – Centrum Judaicum. Between 2016 and 2021, she was part of the Academy Programs at the Jewish Museums Berlin, responsible for areas Migration and Diversity and the Jewish-Islamic Forum. From 2008 to 2015 she worked as a freelance guide at the Jewish Museum Berlin. In 2004, she was a volunteer in the curatorial department of the Museum and Holocaust Research Center in Melbourne. She is an associate board member of ICOM COMCOL, ICOM International Committee for Collecting and a member of the New German Museum Makers. In 2020 she co-founded the initiative „Making Museums Matter“.
